Multiple OS in VPS Hosting
If you choose one of our virtual private server solutions, you will have 3 different Operating Systems to select from - CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu. They're all Linux distributions and we offer them rather than offering just one OS, as the applications that you might want to run on the server could have specific requirements for the software environment. Each of these three has some pros in terms of the available packages that you may later install, but what is common between them is the fact that they're very stable and reliable and have large communities which support them. The web hosting Control Panel choices for the VPS accounts depend on your OS choice, so as to provide you with more flexibility. When you order the virtual server with one OS and you need another one later, our tech support team can easily reinstall the VPS with the new one in just a few minutes. We also offer you the option to keep the Operating System on your server up-to-date weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Web Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server plans - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are 100 % free and they won't increase the low price of your new server, but also because they are outstandingly stable and secure. Each of them is backed up by a vast community of developers, so you'll be able to choose from thousands of software packages that you could install on your server if the app that you would like to employ has certain requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use because the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with specific OSs only and because we want to provide you with as much freedom as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you choose a server with a given OS, we can change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you will need another one. We can also keep the OS updated on a weekly basis as a part of the optional Managed Services upgrade.
